My counsel to prominent pastors and ministers is this:
Focus on evangelism and ministry. Don’t dabble into
# COVID19 conspiracy theories. Your people are in awe of you. Even if they know you are talking nonsense, they won’t tell you. Wisdom is profitable to direct. Create an atmosphere where your people are comfortable enough to confront you respectfully. Christ created that environment. Matthew 16:22 says “Peter took him, and began to rebuke Christ”. There are many people who want to trend and will package very convincing YouTube videos and data filled websites, that are actually fake news. But when you have been cocooned for years with good people, you can easily be deceived by such people. Leave science to scientists and preach Christ to the world. I say this with love
