Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are no doubt two of the greatest players of all time (G.O.A.T). Their goal statistics and trophies won both individually and collectively speak volume. The duo have scored incredible number of goals, and has won numerous awards. Aside their talent and accolades, both players are very influential in their respective teams. Believe me, they perhaps sometimes influence the players their coaches sign and play.

Gerrard Pique: Manutd (2004-2008) Barcelona (1994-2004) (2008-present)
Pique came through Barcelona academy - La Masia, but the Spanish defender spent the early part of his career at Old Trafford under now retired Sir Alex Ferguson. Although, he spent much of his time playing as back up to Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic. He however won the Premier League and and Uefa Champions League in 2008 alongside Ronaldo who won the Golden Boot with 8 goals in the former competition.
As a matter of fact, Pique and Ronaldo was on the score sheet for Manutd in a Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev in a 4-0 win at Old Trafford in 2008.
Pique then left for Barcelona his childhood club the next season, and won yet another Champions League trophy, making one of the four players to have won it two consecutive years with different teams.
Since his return to the Catalan club, he has featured more than 300 times alongside Messi and won numerous trophies as well, ranging from 2008 till date. Pique is regarded as one of the best defender in the world.
Henrik Larsson: Barcelona (2004-2008) Manutd (2007)
Henrik is fortunate to play with Messi and Ronaldo at the early stages of their career. The former Swedish striker won the Champions League alongside young Leo Messi at Barcelona in 2006. Then in 2007, during the Swedish League winter break, United snapped up the Swede from Helsingborg on a three months loan due to injury that ravaged their striking position and Van Nistelrooy departure for Real Madrid. The then 35-year-old striker made a total of thirteen appearances for Manchester United.
I can remember Ronaldo's scintillating crossing assist to Larsson in a second leg Champions League game against French side - Locs Lille at Old Trafford, and that goal sealed the qualification for the Red Devils in 2017.
