Have you seen those very tiny pockets on almost every jeans? Have you ever wondered what they are used for?
Many people have pondered about the small pocket's purpose in jeans. 👖
Some say it pocket to insert a coin pocket while some considered it to be a pocket for protecting tickets 🎟. And yet some said its a pocket for slipping in those fidgety fingers when they are feeling bored or something like that.

Jeans hit the global markets in 1800s,. Those days pocket watches were very common. In order to safeguard those watches, there came the tiny pockets in jeans to safely store their pocket watches.
Back in those days, tiny pockets were so commonly used for their intended purpose that they were called watch pockets.....because they were made to keep pocket watches.
These days, not many people carry around pocket watches, so the watch pocket is more for fashion than anything else.
