Controversial Nigerian musician, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley has been arraigned before a mobile court in Abuja for allegedly holding a concert at Jabi Lake Mall Abuja, on the 13th of June 2020 in contravention of COVID-19 guidelines.
You will recall that the Am I Yahoo Boy crooner on Saturday, 13th of June performed at a concert in Abuja despite the interstate travel ban and social distancing rules aimed at curbing the spread of Covid-19.
And as a result, the Ministry of Aviation suspended ExecuJet airline, the aircraft that conveyed Naira Marley to perform at a concert in Abuja despite a ban on interstate travel and violating social distancing rules aimed at curbing the spread of Covid-19, indefinitely and false information.
As many criticised the government for punishing Naira Marley and failing to convic those public officials who attended Kyaris burial, few berated the singer for breaking guidelines by the government to curb coronavirus pandemic.
