Recently transfer rumours has been circulating on print and social media that Chelsea manager want to sell Frank Lampard in order to make space for potential signing, Declan Rice.
It is not okay. Anyone who understands football should not even say that. It's not an easy thing to win the premier league player of the year and it is not easy to be a world cup winner. Kante is a machine. I didn't believe he could have injuries until he caught one last season and maybe that's the reason this question was probably asked.
Kante's role as a defensive midfielder is heavy especially with a team like Chelsea. He runs round the pitch, intercepting, shadow marking, passing and doing other things he does. He made the most tackles in Europe's top leagues two seasons in a row. I personally believe after Hazard left, he became the best player in that team. He's very hardworking and he's a player a coach can trust. Managers can play him in as a defensive midfielder, central midfielder or even as an attacking midfielder.
Football fans will only remember the mistake he made against Arsenal that led to the goal and forget all the sacrifices he's made for the club. Well, I really admire him as a player and I don't like it when people talk about him in a bad way. He's a silent player in and off the pitch who only talks when he's supposed too. I will never be among the people who downplay him even if he makes errors.(which are rare)
He's back in his full form playing all minutes since the season started. There are rumours that some clubs want him but hopefully he stays and gives us his best.
I think Lampard should not make the mistake of selling him soon. His experience can be advantage to the younger players.
