See Why Fans Should Blame Ole Gunnar Solskjaer For Manutd Woes Instead Of Ed Woodward

Manchester United have hired and fired managers like its going out of fashion since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.

Each manager was tasked with securing European football, and as soon as this wasn’t achieved – or it looked like it wasn’t going to be achieved – they are fired at will.

David Moyes was sacked just 48 hours after he failed to finish fourth while Louis van Gaal was fired for securing fifth, despite winning the FA Cup trophy.

While Jose Mourinho secured Champions League football in 2 consecutive years, but was showed the exit door when Man United’s 2018/19 campaign started so poorly, and falling out with some senior players - European football for next season appeared impossible.

People were busy insulting and criticizing Woodward and sometimes I wonder what you really want from him. Maybe you want him to give you his blood.

Why criticize Woodward if I may ask? Maybe you want Woodward to buy everything in the world before a poor manager can perform. Is that how you run your business? Before you spend money, you need to be sure that what you are paying for won't be a liability in the future.

First season over 200m spent and here we go with Maguire and James. Second season about 100m spent already and you are still blaming Woodward. Maybe you want Woodward to sell the club and use the money realized to buy players for Ole to do better. Look at Arteta, Ancelotti, Rodgers and you will have to shut up after looking at them. They already know where the problem is and strengthened those areas. Ole wants to buy a new starting eleven every year and the problem only gets worse. Always going for expensive ones (English players) that might flop without looking to get a less expensive player that can offer more.

I am glad the deal 🤝 for Jordan Sancho did not materialised. The money to be wasted on him was used to buy players four additional players (apart from Van De Beek) for just £40m plus Cavani.

Think about it. Business is all about making profit and curtailing your losses. If the club is to sell Maguire now, can they even get half of the 80m spent after 1 season? The duty of a good manager is to make 8m player to become 80m player and not make 100m player to become a 10m player. We have lots of unsellable players in our team currently. Lots of players nobody wants to buy. Whose fault? The manager who failed to bring the best out of them.

It is also clear that De Gea has lost form. Why still playing him now when Henderson and Romero are better. Manchester United defeat in the FA Cup and Europa league last season was as a result of Ole benching Romero for De Gea. Very heartbreaking for Romero after taking Manutd to that stage only for him to be benched.

Who does that? Fact is, Ole sold the players he ought not to have sold and kept those he ought have kept. Smalling was the last of them. Smalling is far better than everything left at the back and Rojo is still another one sacrificed. Truth must be told. I can't support evil because I want to impress anyone.

If you must blame Woodward, don't forget to add Ole to it because Ole has the largest part of the blame for buying underperforming players.

My only blame on Woodward is picking Ole as the manager.
