"You Are A Coward And Another Tu Face Idibia" - Fans Blast Naira Marley For Backtracking On The Planned End SARS Protest

Nigerian singer and song writer, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, known professionally as Naira Marley has come under heavy backlash and criticism after he announced 📢 that the planned protest scheduled to hold today will not take place again due to the statement published by Inspector General of Police on it official twitter account concerning EndSARS saga.

 

"We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now. As a Marlian we will give them a week to see the changes and if there’s no changes we will start a mass protest" he wrote.

Stating his reasons for the suspension of the planned protest he shared an official tweet made by the Nigeria Police Force.

However, the "Am I Yahoo Boy"crooner stated that he will give them a week grace to seek if there will be any changes to that effect. You will recall that recently there has been nationwide call for the end of SARS due to the brutality, extortion and illegal killings of innocent people.

The announcement 📢 did not go down with many of his fans as they express their disappointment after getting their placards. While few revealed stated that they knew he is going to backtrack hence he is a coward
