Apart From Being The First Player To Score 800 Top-Level Goals, See Other Records Cristiano Ronaldo May Break Soon

Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player in history to score 800 top-level career goals when he struck twice for Manchester United in a 3-2 win over Arsenal on Thursday.

This is his 12th goal in 17 games for Manchester United since his second coming to the club that shot him up to international fame.

And now he has 180 goals for the red side of Manchester in his two spells combined.

His first goal which was a work of pure art and the result of a sprinted counter attack gave Ronaldo his 800 career goals for club and country.

And his 70th minute penalty gives United the lead and all the needed 3 points to climb to 7th position and just only 3 points shy of the top 4 race.

And now what's next for the ever energetic and record breaking Ronaldo?

The Austrian-Czech player Josef Bican still holds the record for the most goals in men's football official games(Pele might still be wondering) He retired with 805 goals to his name.

Ronaldo comes second with 801 goals. Romario of Brazil has 775 against Pele's 767 and Lionel Messi completes the top 5 list with 755 goals.

There is no central database to establish football's all-time top scorer, but Ronaldo certainly tops the charts for official games at a high level.

The Czech football association says Josef Bican, who played in Czechoslovakia and Austria, scored 821 goals in official matches. Elsewhere his tally is placed at 805 - but those include reserve-team and non-official international goals.

Ronaldo only needs five more goals to break that all impressive record and as I have predicted in the past, he will accomplish that before this year runs out or better by January 2022.

Ronaldo lives for the big moments and mighty records and he's more than ready to break the next one in front of him.

He just surpassed Iranian Alli Daei's record of 109 International goals and he now has 115 and still counting.

So what's next for 36 years old Ronaldo?

To do nothing but KEEP SCORING goals.

To forget about any records and just deliver the goods he's paid to do and before you know it as CR7 said, “The records will chase me"- and oh boy, they have been doing exactly that.

Any single football player that has these 3 records to your name is a genius in his own rights and a true legend of the round leather and beautiful game.

All time Men's highest goal scorer (sorry if I have leaped into the future ahead of time)
UEFA Champions League highest goal scorer (140 goals and we might count for more 4–5 seasons)
Men's International games highest goal scorer (now 115, but can he surpass 140)
