Erik ten Hag Has A Lot Of Work To do: Liverpool Exposed Manchester United

Erik ten Hag Has A Lot Of Work To do: Liverpool Exposed Manchester United

If you are a Manchester United fan and you watched the match against Liverpool from beginning to end. Mehn you have a strong 💪 heart.

Liverpool ripped United open and they were all chasing shadows throughout the match.
Without Ronaldo papering over the cracks, the Red Devils players are just a bunch of egoistic world-class players who’re paid too much for their trouble. Brilliant talents like Rashy, and Sancho aren’t even performing despite the huge amount they are taking home from Manutd board headed by the Glazier's family.

Bruno seldom create the chances, but who is gonna finish them off if Ronaldo isn’t playing? Elanga has been electric on the pitch but he looked almost fatigued and isolated.

As usual Paul Pogba limped out again. Possibly you will see him clubbing in the beautiful city  of Dubai 🇦🇪. Maguire with another shocker of a game, AWB not doing much, and the team as a whole barely showing any intent to win the match ot to even make a tackle.

Some people say Ronaldo is the problem. I mean, fair enough, he’s 5 years too old to be a star in the Premier League, but without him, United has not win any match.

Gosh, look at the attacking threat chart.

What was that, a training match? I get Salah and Mane being a deadly duo to face, but whoa, that’s some deadly they are looking at.

I have to give Liverpool  a lot of credit though, they totally outplayed, outran, bullied United from start to finish.

Phil Jones surprisingly started ahead of Eric Bailly, Ralf changed the formation after the match, and it doesn’t look like the German tactics have been having that much of an impact. High pressing was his key manifesto when he came on board. But reverse is the case. United is now the team always under pressure. He looked confuse and lacked ideas.

As much as I love Manchester United, it doesn’t look like they will bounce back from this. Hopefully, I pray they will miraculously make it into the top 4. Maybe Arsenal still have enough of bottling fuel in them. Maybe they will roar back in form but it seems their form is diminishing as the day goes by.

What I can say though, is that no matter whichever manager comes in, the current crop of players won't win as long as they think they deserve their paychecks for the way they play.

They’re already talking about the 5 signings Ten Hag  will bring bring in with him. Yeah he has a good record at Ajax. He played nice football. His football philosophy has always been like Pep Guardiola's and Johan Cruyff's. He likes to attack, to create things on the pitch.

The brutal reality of what Ten Hag is letting himself in for can be illustrated by the fact he is inheriting a bigger, more problematic task at United.

Ten Hag will be taking on a dysfunctional dressing room inhabited by players who do not want to be there, who are not good enough to be there and a team that embarrassed the club's good name in the 4-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.

Good luck 🤞 Erik ten Hag.
