Premier League Announces Team Of The Season As Son Heung-min Misses Out
The Premier League PFA team of the year results have been revealed.
Liverpool and Manchester City dominated the list, with nine of the 11 players chosen coming from the respective runners-up and champions.
Six Liverpool players were named starters, including Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Thiago Silva, Sadio Mane, and Mohamed Salah.
Manchester City were represented by Joao Cancelo, Bernardo Silva, and Kevin De Bruyne, with only two other clubs represented in the XI.
Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger, who has joined Real Madrid, and Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo completed the sqaud.
However, football fans have slammed the organizers for not recognizing Tottenham star, Son Heung-min from the PFA Team of the Year as 'criminal.'
Despite finishing as the Premier League's joint-top goalscorer with Mohamed Salah, Son was not selected in the team, which was announced at a virtual awards ceremony on Thursday.
