We Are Fighting To Defend Our People, Not To Kill Them - Nnamdi Kanu Calls For Peace In South-East After Losing Bail Application (Video)
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has called for peace in the country's South-East region after his bail application was denied by a federal high court judge.
You will recall that Justice Binta Nyako of the federal high court in Abuja dismissed the application, describing it as an abuse of court process after it had previously been denied.
Kanu urged the people of the Southeast to "remain calm" and make the zone peaceful after the court's decision.
He said;
“It is what we expect. But I want our people to be very calm. I want Biafranland to be calm, calm, and very peaceful. We are fighting to defend our people, not to kill them.
“We are fighting to defend them, that’s why I’m here. And we will continue to do so until we get victory.”
