Erik ten Hag's side suffered their first-ever home defeat to the Seagulls on Sunday, August 7, losing 2-1 at Old Trafford.
Pascal Gross scored twice in the first half to give Brighton a commanding lead, and an own goal by Alexis Mac Allister sealed the outcome, with Ten Hag's side unable to complete the comeback.
As a result, tensions in the stands rose as a fight broke out in one section of the Old Trafford crowd.
A man was seen in one of the photos with his hand around the throat of another spectator. As others attempted to calm the situation, fans from another section became involved.
