The Rise Of Graham Potter, From Ostersund To Chelsea
🇸🇪 Took Ostersund from the 4th tier to Swedish top flight, Allsvenskan. He started building a reputation for 'slick passing' football & won the Swedish Cup in 2017, his only major honour. He then made headlines when his side beat Arsenal at the Emirates in the UEFA Europa League in 2018.
🏴 He established Swansea in the Championship after their relegation, just missing out on the play-offs. Caught the eye of Premier League clubs when he led Manchester City 2-0 in an FA Cup quarter-final, before closely losing 3-2.
🏴 Brighton had controversially sacked Chris Hughton, Potter took over. He made astute signings in Leandro Trossard, Tariq Lamptey & Adam Webster in 2019 and led them to a best ever Premier League points total. He's since led them to a highest-ever finish of 9th & built one of the most exciting & attractive teams in the league.
