According to the Bible, he was a wicked and heartless king. They said he felt worried that his Israelite slaves would rise up against him. So he ordered all the first born-male babies of the Israelites to be killed.
They pleaded with Pharaoh to let them go; same way we are begging Buhari to let us go but he refused.
God inflicted several plagues on the Egyptians so they could let the Israelites go. Each time, Pharaoh promises to free the Israelites, but reverses his decision when the plague is lifted — until the last one. The plagues of water turning to blood, frogs, lice, flies, livestock pestilence, boils, hail, locusts, darkness and the killing of Egyptian firstborn children.
The question is, why would he (Pharaoh) reverse his decision?
ANSWER: God did it. God is responsible for that not King Pharaoh. Each time after the plague stopped, God stiffened Pharaoh’s heart, and he refused to let the Israelites go. Since it was God who did it, Pharaoh had to refuse to release the Israelites.
“But the LORD hardened Pharaoh’s heart and he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said to Moses”. -Exodus 9:12.
In other words, Pharaoh was deprived of FREE WILL by God! So he deserve an apology. The last plagues are: water turning to blood, frogs, lice, flies, livestock pestilence, boils, hail, locusts, darkness and the killing of Egyptian firstborn children.
On a lighter note, God can get sued for this. The Egyptians should get themselves some good lawyers and take up this matter sha. Dem fit win o.
Literally, Pharaoh was used and dumped by God if u checkam well.
