See Why Davido Married Chioma In Secret After Ifeanyi's Death
There have been rumors that well-known artist Davido and his partner Chioma married in secret. This occurs just a few weeks after the couple lost their three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, who drowned in a pool at the musician's villa on Lagos' Banana Island.
The traditional wedding reportedly took place on November 6 in Davido's father's home, with no cameras allowed, and was only attended by a small number of family members and friends. The entire bride price for Chioma was paid.
Although Davido had previously announced to the public that he and Chioma would wed in 2023 before his son's tragically untimely death, the traditional wedding had to be moved forward in the wake of the celebrity couple's recent tragedy.
It was said that after her son passed away, Chioma told Davido there was nothing else for her to be considering because the boy who had brought the two of them together was no longer there.
Davido was forced to bring the customary wedding up in order to supposedly comfort Chioma and reassure her that, son or no son, her place is secure. The Davido family is making every effort to ensure the couple's happiness.
Chioma has lost a significant amount of weight, and both couples are still in mourning. Davido's eyes were puffy from crying a lot in a recent snapshot that showed him getting a haircut for his first public appearance.
Chioma, on the other hand, is still attempting to cope with the loss of her son. Her personal room was completely destroyed by an enigmatic fire a few weeks prior to her son's passing. The cause of the fire is still a mystery.
